Job description
Ensure optimal functioning of tools, systems, and networks with the Infrastructure team
Handle incidents (Level 1 & 2) and escalate complex issues as needed
Maintain up-to-date technical documentation
Support and participate in several IT projects on group level
Ensure data integrity, backup, and access management
Monitor and analyze system performance
Manage infrastructure access rights and diagnose malfunctions
Coordinate with external experts for incident resolution
Automate, document, and streamline recurring tasks
Maintain an up-to-date IT inventory
Oversee onboarding and computer renewals for employees
Profile
Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent experience in user support
Minimum 2 years of support experience, preferably in industrial IT
Fluency in French and English. Knowledge of Dutch is a strong plus
Passionate, proactive, and eager to learn new technologies
Organized, patient, and results-driven in managing projects
Skilled in Windows, Office 365, SharePoint, and device management (PCs, smartphones)
Knowledge of networking, scripting, and telephony is a plus
Excellent communicator, comfortable with internal and external stakeholders
Service-oriented, attentive to users, and able to explain technical issues clearly
Maintains confidentiality and stays up to date with technology trends
Important note: Our client has a strong preference for candidates living less than 30 minutes commute away from Brussels (Ixelles)
